Pupils have been working towards their Archbishop of York Young Leader Award completing a Community Action Project in the village

Children in Years 3 and 4 at Brant Broughton Primary School have been very busy in the village working hard to restore community benches, plant seeds to attract bees and butterflies and make and plant out planters to enhance the environment. They have worked with the local Parish Council to identify areas that needed improving and have together raised the funds to enable their work to happen.
The children are working towards the Archbishop of York Young Leader Award which ensures that they learn about, and from, leaders past and present as inspiration for their own projects.
