Welcome to our New Headteacher

The staff, children, parents and governors of Brant Broughton Primary School were very pleased to welcome their new headteacher, Mrs Liz Moore,  at the beginning of the Spring term.

Mrs Moore was previously deputy head at Bardney Church of England and Methodist Primary School.

She has an Honours degree in English and Classics. She then went on to complete a Post Graduate Certificate in Education course.

Her teaching career have been quite extensive and varied, as she has taught  in Buckinghamshire, Gloucestershire and Lincolnshire, where her experience has ranged from teaching Key Stages 1 and 2,  in rural, town and city schools.

She led the development of the Christian ethos at Bardney Primary, as well as initiating a new curriculum in order to provide a high quality, structured, knowledge rich curriculum for the children.

Mrs Moore was graded as outstanding for her support in the leadership and management of a church school in a Section 48 inspection, where denominational education and collective worship was inspected.

Liz has many interests and enjoys swimming, travel, the outdoors and reading. She has a teenage son, who she is very proud of.

Mrs Bedford, the previous headteacher at Brant Broughton CE and Methodist Primary School left at the end of the Christmas term, as she was appointed as Executive Headteacher of Grantham Villages’ CE Primary School Federation. We thank her for all the work she did at Brant Broughton and wish her every success in her new post.
