What does project-based learning look like?
Our projects are based around a guiding question for the term designed to generate enthusiasm and interest as well as deep learning opportunities e.g. 'Why do we tell stories?', 'Can we learn without our classroom?', 'What is entertainment?'
Each term, the project has three outcomes which the class work towards in a combination of carefully designed teacher-led lessons and independent research. Outcomes are designed to have a public display of some kind to encourage high-quality finished products which the children are really proud of.
