Interim Executive Board

The Interim Executive Board has been convened to provide interim expertise and high-quality governance to support further improvement at Brant Broughton CofE Methodist Primary School. This is a supportive measure, to build on the good work of the current interim leadership team at the school.

While an IEB is in place, it qualifies as the governing body and any reference in the Education Acts to a governor or foundation governor applies to an interim executive member. During the interim period, the requirements concerning the governing body’s constitution set out in the School Governance (Constitution) (England) Regulations 2012 do not apply. The IEB will take on the responsibilities of a normally constituted governing body, including the management of the budget, curriculum, staffing, pay and performance management, and the appointment of the headteacher, if applicable.

The Interim Executive Board members are:

Debbie Barkes

Paul Brewster

Lucy Conley (Chair)

Rev Stuart Ellis

Andrew Fulbrook
